Wearable Sculpture
The Jester (or Giulia under the Mask of Harlequin)
The Burning Man project was to create a wearable art piece using found items. I was inspired by Arlecchino from Commedia dell’Arte, Bauhaus, and Korean street fashion. The Elizabethan ruffle collar and pants were made of coffee filters, while the headpiece was made with pompoms and fake flowers under a metal structure that was glued to a headband.
Blender
Tutorials I followed out of boredom
Blender is a free computer software often used for animations and 3D modeling. During winter break, I challenged myself by following tutorials on YouTube and learning about Blender. These are some cool things I made from it.
